karachi province records death again

KARACHI province in pakistan has been under turmoil after gunmen went under kiling spree,killing 39 people with valuable properties(including vehicles,houses),and a furniture market. Karachi has a record of political,religious and ethnic violence. Karachi has been a hide out for Al-queda and taliban militants. The MQM's main nemesis is the Awani national party, a secular nationalist party whose main power center is pakistan northwest and whose base is the ethnic pashun community.
Officials from various hospitals has put the total casualties to be 80 people who sustained gunshot wounds and 37 people died. Sindl province spokesman jamil soomro said 10 people have been arrested, but he said gunfire could still be heard in tuesday. All school and colleges in karachi and neigbouring centres in the province were ordered to be closed by the government.
